Course Details: The Sulphur Springs Trail Race is a 20K loop course, and offers trail runners of all skills a little something to enjoy - with a mixture of groomed trail to moderately challenging single track, with rolling easy hills and steep climbs and descents. All nestled in the beautiful setting of the Niagara Escarpment where natural springs and streams babble in the background, and if you are lucky enough, deer bounding alongside: truly a runner’s paradise.
Lost in the Woods since 1992, this Trail system has been the site of this Burlington Runners Club Race for more than 30 years; making it the oldest running Ultra Marathon in Canada. Come and see what the hype is all about!
2025 is once again an Athletics Ontario Sanctioned Event
Sulphur Springs is one of the best days of running you will ever experience. The race weaves its way on a 20K loop through the beautiful trails of the Dundas Valley Conservation Area in the City of Hamilton, Ontario (formerly the Town of Ancaster).
The race offers events for everyone from the casual weekend warrior to the hard-core racer to the corporate team looking for a group challenge. 10K, 20K, 50K, 50M, 100K, 100M + Relays!
We will work to ensure that your race day experience is as wonderful as possible, however, we make NO claims as to how clean you will be by the time you reach the finish line.
